The 2025 China Dental Valley Industry Development Conference was held in Chengdu
On April 24th, the 2025 China Yagu Industry Development Conference was held at the Western China International Expo City. Representatives from dental industry associations, experts and scholars, enterprises, and financial institutions gathered together to discuss the development of the dental industry.
At the conference, the People's Government of Ziyang City and West China Stomatological Hospital of Sichuan University signed a cooperation agreement, and the China Association for the Promotion of Industry University Research Cooperation awarded plaques of"China Oral Medicine Collaborative Innovation Platform" and"China Oral Medicine Collaborative Innovation Platform Co Creation Unit" to both parties. Ziyang High tech Zone has signed on-site contracts for 12 projects, including Tianjin Weizhixin Invisible Orthodontics and Guangdong Zhongjing Lighting Meibomian Treatment Device. In addition, the conference also presented awards to 15 outstanding young scholars in Western dentistry and 16 outstanding thesis supervisors of the"China Dental Valley Cup".
As one of the largest gathering places for the dental medical device industry in China, China Dental Valley has formed a full industry chain ecosystem of"industry university research sales medical care" since its layout in Ziyang by the Sichuan Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government in 2016. At present, the park has gathered 143 dental medical equipment enterprises, forming a product matrix of more than 60 types of dental equipment in 4 categories and more than 100 types of dental materials in 5 categories. 335"Ziyang Made" products are exported to more than 60 countries and regions around the world, with a production value of nearly 4 billion yuan by 2024. In terms of technological innovation, China Dental Valley has established a deep cooperation with West China Stomatological Hospital of Sichuan University to establish a science and technology innovation transformation fund and collaborative innovation platform. It has invested nearly 300 million yuan to build a science and technology innovation center, equipped with 30 small-scale incubation units, 4 pilot incubators, and 12 public experimental laboratories. The Inspection and Testing Center has obtained national CMA qualification certification and is applying for CNAS certification. It has the second 10 meter electromagnetic compatibility laboratory for medical device products in the western region.
In the field of industrial services, China Yagu relies on platforms such as the Sichuan Innovation Service Station Ziyang Branch of the National Equipment Review Center to achieve"same day processing of Class I certificates, no queuing for Class II certificates, and smooth processing of Class III certificates". The product registration time has been reduced by 60% compared to conventional methods, and the fastest time to obtain a Class III certificate is 103 working days. The average time from signing the contract to production of the project has been shortened by 3-6 months, and"Yagu Speed" has become the engine of enterprise development.
In terms of talent guarantee, China Yagu has hired 14 academicians and experts as strategic development consultants, and has introduced more than 120 professional talents with master's and doctoral degrees or above annually. The first dental vocational college in China, Ziyang Dental Vocational College, offers 17 characteristic majors, with over 8500 students and more than 2000 skilled talents annually. In the future, Ziyang High tech Zone will focus on high-quality development, strengthen inspection and testing, registration and certification, and innovative research and development services. The goal is to build China Dental Valley into a global hub for dental technology innovation, a national brand incubator, and a global industry development indicator.
