Blessed by the golden gifts of the 30°N latitude, Anyue nurtures a century-old legend of lemon fragrance. The first seedling introduced in 1929 has now expanded into a 480,000-mu"lemon sea", making Anyue one of the world’s top five lemon-producing areas and the"Hometown of Lemons" in China.
The lemons here are juicy, rich in flavor and nutrients, with multiple indicators surpassing international counterparts, a prestigious National Geographical Indication product. From lemon poetry festivals to flavor feasts, from industry conferences to cultural-tourism integration, lemon aroma has long been part of the local heritage. This"golden fruit" underpins rural revitalization, boosting the income of 330,000 farming households, turning barren hills into fertile lands and farmlands into scenic spots. Every bite of sweet and sour carries the craftsmanship accumulated over the years; every green leaf tells the story of ecological prosperity for farmers.
