Mount Guangwu in Bazhong Welcomes the First Thousand-member Tour Group from Xi'an, Marking the Vibrant Launch of Mountain -Water Wellness and Team-building Tourism
In May, Mount Guangwu in Bazhong, Sichuan, is lush and verdant, with its peculiar peaks and the sea of clouds complementing each other, making it the ideal time for outings and team-building activities. From May 9 to 10, Mount Guangwu Scenic Area welcomed the first thousand-member tour group from Xi'an. Tourists were immersed in the breathtaking mountain-water landscapes and enjoyed the spring wellness journey in an immersive way.
In spring, Mount Guangwu is a poetic landscape of layered emerald forests and blooming wildflowers. At Yanziling, seas of clouds surge around mist-shrouded peaks, while Micang Ancient Road winds through lush greenery, where every step unfolds a poetic scene. The thousand-member group is a large tour group from Xi'an that Mount Guangwu has received in the spring of 2026, demonstrating the Scenic Area's strong appeal in the cultural and tourism market at the border of Sichuan and Shaanxi provinces.
It is learned that the itinerary of the first tour group lasted for 2 days. The Scenic Area customized the exclusive tour routes for the group. Tourists leisurely strolled along the scenic river route, enjoying the green mountains, clear waters and cascading waterfalls, while they were immersed in the fresh, oxygen-rich air in the mountains and forests. As night fell, a lively bonfire party was held in the Scenic Area, where tourists gathered around the fire to sing and dance, fully experiencing the charm of mountain wilderness in an immersive way. In the early morning of the next day, tourists took cable cars to the top of the mountain, explored the newly upgraded Yanziling, and enjoyed panoramic views of the breathtaking natural spectacle where sunrise, sea of clouds and forest merged. Tourists enthusiastically praised the trip as worthwhile.
To ensure smooth outings for large groups, Mount Guangwu Scenic Area has proactively coordinated arrangements by optimizing service processes such as ticketing, traffic guidance and safety patrols, with additional working personnel assigned to key locations. It has also enhanced supporting services like dining and accommodation, leveraging mature team-building facilities and flexible route planning to fully meet the needs of group tours.
The successful reception of the first thousand-member tour group from Xi'an has further expanded and strengthened customer base in the northwest market of Mount Guangwu. Going forward, the Scenic Area will keep enriching its cultural and tourism products, upgrading service standards, and launching a variety of distinctive activities. It will also roll out premium team-building and wellness routes tailored for enterprises and institutions across the country, extending an invitation to tourists from all directions to come and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
