大家好，我是阿力，一名来自巴基斯坦的旅行博主。走过中国很多城市，看过戈壁、湖泊与雪山，这一次，我把脚步交给川西理县的理小路，遇见了让我内心久久震撼的红石滩。
Hello everyone, I'm Alee, a travel blogger from Pakistan. Having traveled to many cities across China and seen gobi deserts, lakes and snow-capped mountains, this time I set foot on the Lixian-Xiaojin Road in Li County, Western Sichuan, and encountered the red rock beach that left me deeply awestruck.
很早就听说理小路被叫作“川西小独库”，这一条崭新的公路穿梭在横断山脉之间，一路翻越海拔落差，森林、河谷、草甸、雪山接连撞入眼中。很难想象，在险峻的高原山谷之间，修出这样一条景观大道，开车向前，每转过一道弯，就是一幅全新的画卷，一天之内，仿佛走过四季。
I heard a long time ago that the Lixian-Xiaojin Road is known as"Xiaoduku in Western Sichuan". This brand-new highway shuttled between Hengduan Mountains, traversing huge altitude drops, with forests, river valleys, meadows and snow-capped peaks rushing into view one after another. It is hard to imagine that such a scenic avenue has been built among the precipitous highland valleys. Driving forward, every turn unfolds a brand-new landscape, as if tourists have walked through all four seasons in a single day.
沿着公路继续向前，我终于抵达红石滩。第一眼看见这片河谷的时候，我停下脚步，久久说不出话。整条河滩大大小小的石头，被一层独特的红色藻类包裹，热烈的橘红色铺满河谷，像大地悄悄燃起的火焰。清澈冰凉的雪山融水在石头之间哗哗流淌，远处是巍峨的雪山，松林层层叠叠伫立在山谷两侧，蓝天、白雪、碧绿河水、艳红石头，几种浓烈的色彩撞在一起，是我在别的地方从未见过的奇观。
Continuing along the road, I finally arrived at the Red Rock Beach. The moment I first laid eyes on this river valley, I stopped in my tracks and was speechless for a long time. All the stones on the entire beach, big and small, are covered by a unique layer of red algae. The vibrant orange-red hue spreads across the whole valley, just like flames quietly igniting on the earth. The clear, icy snow-melt gurgles and flows between the stones. In the distance stand the towering snow-capped mountains, while layers of pine forests line both sides of the valley. The vivid hues of blue sky, white snow, emerald river water and bright red rocks collide together, forming a spectacular sight I have never seen anywhere else.
我踩着石头慢慢往前走，听溪流轰鸣，风穿过森林发出沙沙的声响。这里海拔三千多米，走路稍微快一点就会呼吸加重，可眼前的风景，完全值得这份辛苦。当地人告诉我，石头上的红色不是矿物染色，是只在洁净水源、优良生态环境下才可以存活的特殊藻类，一旦环境被破坏，这抹红色就会消失不见。那一刻我才明白，这遍地火红，是大自然送给这片山谷的礼物，也是这片土地生态完好最好的证明。
I stepped slowly forward on the stones, listening to the roaring stream and the rustling sound of wind blowing through the forest. At an altitude of over 3,000m, my breath would quicken if I walked even a little faster. Yet the scenery before my eyes made every bit of this effort totally worthwhile. Local people told me that the red color on the stones is not mineral staining, but a special type of algae that can only survive in areas with clean water sources and a sound ecological environment. Once the environment is damaged, this patch of red will disappear completely. At that moment, I finally realized that this stretch of fiery red all over the ground is a gift bestowed by nature to this valley, and also the best proof of the ecological integrity of this land.
站在这里遥望远方雪山，我心里生出很多感慨。在我的家乡巴基斯坦，我们也有巍峨的高山、壮阔河谷。可理小路给我的感受很特别：一边是大自然原始野性的力量，雪山亘古伫立，红石自在生长；另一边，是中国人用智慧，打通群山，把深藏在大山深处的秘境，向更多旅行者打开。公路隧道穿山而过，却又最大程度守护着山谷原本的模样，人与自然在这里和谐共处。
Standing here and gazing at the distant snow-capped mountains, I was filled with a rush of emotions. In my hometown of Pakistan, we also have towering high mountains and magnificent river valleys. Yet the Lixian-Xiaojin Road feels uniquely special to me: on one side lies the raw, wild power of nature, with snow peaks standing timelessly and a special algae growing freely on the rocks; on the other side, it is the wisdom of the Chinese people that cut through the mountain ranges, opening up this hidden secret realm deep in the mountains to more travelers. Highway tunnels cut through the mountains, while preserving the original appearance of the valley to the greatest extent. Man and nature coexist in perfect harmony here.
在这里我遇见不少本地游客，大家安静拍照，不挪动红石，不破坏河滩的一草一木。大家懂得敬畏这片土地，珍惜这份难得的自然馈赠，这点让我印象很深。
I met many local tourists along the way. They took photos quietly, never moved the rocks, and never harmed a single blade of grass or tree on the river beach. Everyone knows how to revere this land and cherish this rare natural gift, which left a very deep impression on me.
很多外国朋友对中国的印象，大多是繁华大都市、高楼与高铁。但当你真正走进川西，才会看见中国的另一面。不止有现代化的城市，更有如此辽阔、震撼、纯粹的山河。理小路不只有一处红石滩，一路向前，高山草甸、茂密林海、冰川远景接连出现，不用刻意寻找网红打卡点，沿途随处都是惊喜。
Most foreign friends’ impressions of China are largely limited to its bustling metropolises, skyscrapers and high-speed railways. But when you step into Western Sichuan, you get to see a different side of China. It is not just home to modernized cities, but also boasts such vast, breathtaking and pristine mountains and rivers. The Lixian-Xiaojin Road is far more than just one red rock beach. As you drive onward, alpine meadows, dense forest trails and distant glacier views unfold one after another. You don’t have to hunt for intentional internet-famous check-in spots, for surprises are scattered everywhere along the way.
离开红石滩的时候，回头再望，河谷里那一片火红依旧耀眼。我想旅行的意义，就是奔赴这些意料之外的相遇。如果你来到四川，不要只流连热闹的城市，一定要来理县走一走理小路，来看一看红石滩。去亲身感受，这一片藏在群山之间，属于大地的红色浪漫。
When I was leaving the red rock beach, I looked back over my shoulder, and that stretch of fiery red in the river valley was still dazzlingly bright. I think the true meaning of travel is to chase these unexpected encounters. If you ever come to Sichuan, don’t just linger in the bustling cities. Be sure to drive the Lixian-Xiaojin Road in Li County and visit the red rock beach. Go and experience for yourself this patch of earthy red romance hidden among the mountains.
山河无言，自有力量，这，就是中国川西留给我的珍贵记忆。
The mountains and rivers speak no words, yet they hold their own quiet power. This is the precious memory that Western Sichuan, China, has left with me.
